He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dishler and Freida Dishler (Kendrew); his son Mark Dishler; and his brothers, Jack, Jerry, Tommy and Alan "Bud" Dishler.

He is survived by: his wife Marie Dishler (Garman); his daughter Karen Hayostek; his stepchildren, Shari Hoag, Kathy Howieson and Cliff Bryant; and his sister Joanne Blinn. He is also survived by six grandchildren, four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested monetary gifts be given to the funeral home to defray funeral expenses.
