He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Williams and Ida Nice Williams; his wife Hazel L. Black; his sister Loretta Conner; and his granddaughters, Nikita Williams and Stephanie Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Williams, Jr. (Liz), Judy Williams (Steve Penwell), Ellen Williams and Wanda Helmuth. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
