It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Depp of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 8, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Douglas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Douglas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Depp and Betty Lou Depp (Scava). He is survived by: his children, Scott Depp (Tricia) of Indiana and Becca Zinzella (Zeb) of Canonsburg; his grandchildren, Adele, Francesca Zinzella, Ethan, Braden and Dylan Depp; and his brothers, N. Richard Depp of Punxsutawney and Phillip D. Depp (Peggy Young) of Punxsutawney.
