With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Wolfe of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 3, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Nelson Besser and Florence Besser (Anderson); her husband Harold Thomas Wolfe; her daughters, Margaret Clinger and Frances Hill; her granddaughter Brianna; her great grandchild Krista; her son-in-law Timothy Schreckengost; and her siblings, Francis Besser, Donald Besser, Ila Hollister and Phyllis Fingerlow.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila Schreckengost of Valier, Valerie Welder (Russell) of Grampian, Lisa Brown (James Brown) of Reynoldsville and Lori Miller of Ohio; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Mark, Heather, Peter, Joe, Timmy, Trista, Chasity, Dustin, Ryan, Sara, Anna, Everett, Robert, Rachel, Brandon, Kelsie, Kara, Thomas, James and Tyler. She is also survived by thirty four great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
