He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Weitzel and Florence Weitzel (Diehl); and his brother James Weitzel. He is survived by: his wife Rachel A. Weitzel (Fox); his children, David C. Weitzel of Pittsburgh, PA and Susan M. Devlin (Michael) of Palm Coast, FL; his grandchildren, Shane Devlin (Alexandria Ringer), Jonah Weitzel (Alyssa) and Nica Devlin; his great grandchild Carter Bisbing; and his sisters, Doris Weitzel of Baltimore, MD, Shirley Bach of Essex, MD and Cathy King (Bernie) of Rosedale, MD.
