With solemn reverence, we commemorate Marie J. Vargo of Quakertown, Pennsylvania, whose life came to an end on May 21, 2026 at the age of 87, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert, Sr. Bosssert and Elsie Bosssert (Walker); her husband Raymond Vargo; her siblings, Robert Bossert, Jr., Richard Bossert, Kenneth Bossert, Cora Butterwick and Judith Yerkes; and her brother-in-law Walter Schwartz.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marie Hillegas (Drew) and Deborah Shearer (Chris Miller); her stepdaughter Susan Cramp (Thomas); her sisters, Elsie Schwartz (Walt), Linda Shaffer (Ralph) and Rita Dierolf (Clarence); and her grandchildren, Michael (Kimberly) and Rebecca (Christopher). She is also survived by 6 step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John’s Lutheran Church (4 S Main St, Richlandtown, PA 18955). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
