He was predeceased by: his parents, James Althouse and Eva Althouse (Durn); his brothers, James and Thomas Althouse; and his pet Maddie.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn M. Althouse (Effrig); his daughters, Melissa A. Hendricks (Scott) of Souderton, PA, Dorene M. Jones (Rusty) of Hilltown, PA and Angela M. Guyn (Richard) of Lehighton, PA; his grandchildren, Zachary Hendricks, Gregory Hendricks, Anthony Jones, Kasey Gilbert (Zachary), Alexander Guyn (Morgan), Christopher Guyn (Jurnee), Cameron Guyn (Jada) and Dylan Guyn (Hannah); his great grandchildren, Levi and Nora Gilbert; and his pet Max.
