She was predeceased by: her child Surekhe Kasturi; and her parents, Krishnama Chary and Sowbhagyalakshmi Chary. She is survived by: her child Rajani; her grandchildren, Sweta Kawasaki, Neelesh Tekal, Ananya Kasturn, Akhil Kasturi and Anay Kasturi; her great grandchild Maya Kawasaki; and her husband Anand.
