He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Ervin DeLong and Grace DeLong. He is survived by: his wife Patricia DeLong (Kreider); his children, Christine (Joel Schneider), Angie (Jeff Bowman) and Stephen (Michelle DeLong); his granddaughters, Kayla Stover (Cayden Stover), Noelle Schneider, Maya Bowman, Marissa Bowman and Caroline Schuler; his great grandchildren, Haven and Adler Stover; his sisters, Linda (Tom Hunter), Nancy (Bob Eshleman), Mary Peffley (Terry Kreider) and Grace (Glenn Shoemaker); and his pet Bella. He is also survived by his family and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren (1392 Robert Fulton Hwy, Quarryville, PA 17566). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in David's honor may be made to Solanco Neighborhood Ministries, 14 S. Church Street A, Quarryville, PA 17566.
