With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gail L. Wimer of Quarryville, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 2, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Gail departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gail may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gail leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Davis and Helen Davis (Morrison). She is survived by: her husband Ray B. Wimer; her children, Robert Wimer (Carla Moury) of Quarryville, Renee Austin (John) of Columbia and William Wimer (Lori Doubts) of Quarryville; and her siblings, Robert Ehrhart (Olga) of Lebanon and Olive Kendig (Gary) of Lancaster. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dewald Funeral and Cremation Services Inc. (227 W 4th St, Quarryville, PA 17566).
