He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Kendig and Alta M. Eckert Kendig; and his brother Robert Kendig (late Beverly Lammey Kendig) of Quarryville. He is survived by: his spouse Selma A. Brown Kendig; his sons, Todd S. (Kelly Pringle Kendig) of Mechanicsburg and Alan E. (Andrea Pringle Kendig) of Christiana; his grandchildren, Nick, Vicki, Shawn and Heather Kendig; his great grandchildren, Luna, Rayna, Tori, Nadya, Blake, Caleb, Brendin and Cameron; and his brother Glenn (Cindy Stoltzfus Kendig) of Christiana.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shivery Funeral Home (111 Elizabeth St, Christiana, PA 17509). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
