She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Trout and Velda Mae Hawthorne (Alexander); and her siblings, Jason Hawthorne, Candy Hawthorne and Katie Trout.
She is survived by: her spouse Dale C. Heck; her daughter Diana Nelson of North East; her stepdaughter Karen Campbell of Tanglewood; her grandson William Gabriel Nelson; and her sister Paula Miller of Holtwood.
