He was predeceased by: his parents, Thaddeus Charles and Anna Belle Trimble Groff; and his siblings, Rose Marie Groff, Joy Elizabeth Groff, Jane Helen Groff, Ruth Patricia Groff Frackman and Jay Edward Groff.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Nichols Clure Groff; and his children, Tammy Ann Groff and Charles Lee Groff.

Contributions may be made in Buddy's honor to Friendship Community, 1149 E. Oregon Road, Lititz, PA 17543 or to the Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 1068 Chestnut Level Road, Quarryville, PA 17566.
