Lloyd Marvin White Obituary

Lloyd Marvin White, 83, of Lansdowne, departed this world and stepped into the next on August 11, 2025. Born on September 14th in Chicago and raised in Lansdowne, PA, Lloyd lit up every room with his boundless humor and unforgettable presence. His journey on this earth will be remembered by laughter, generosity, and wisdom.

Lloyd’s legacy will be remembered by his determination and work ethic. He was a hard worker and a self-made man who owned and managed over 150 apartment building units in Delaware County, PA. He wasn’t afraid to take chances, try something new, or work hard for what he wanted. He even earned a black belt in karate, which is just one example of his determination. He had an unquenchable search for knowledge. Lloyd truly lived his life on his own terms.

More than anything, Lloyd cared deeply about people. He was the kind of person who could strike up a conversation with anyone, and he had a way of bringing out the good in others. He shared what he knew freely, whether it was life lessons or practical advice, and he always had time for his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Gladys White; his sister, Linda Decarolis; and his son, Lloyd Andrew White.

He is survived by his four children Michael Fitzgerald, April Bass, Scott White, and Anna White, as well as five beloved grandchildren who will carry his spirit forward.

A celebration of Lloyd’s life will be held at Jamey’s House of Music on November 24, 2025, from 4-7 pm with a performance by the AC Steel and Perpetrators. Friends and family are welcome to join in the party celebrating his legacy.
