He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Rivera and Betty Brown Rivera. He is survived by: his spouse Shelby Tabor Rivera; his daughter Teresa Hindman (Tommy) of Quarryville; his grandson Alexander (Danielle) of Rock Hill, SC; and his sisters, Linda Rosa of Oxford, Carol Klingerman (Mike) and Connie Rivera of Quarryville.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. (86 Pine St, Oxford, PA 19363). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
