He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry M. Hine and Cora E. Hine (Whittington); his wife Patricia E. "Pat" Hine (Gordon); and his brother Charles Henry Hine. He is survived by: his sons, Derek W. Hine (Rita) of Waynesboro, PA and Duane P. Hine (Kim) of Hagerstown, MD; his grandchildren, Rachel Dahlstrand (John), Evan Hine (Christa), Logan Hine and Zander Hine; and his great grandchildren, Ava Dahlstrand and Grace Dahlstrand. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
