He was predeceased by: his father Alphonso A. Ward Sr.; his sister Marcelle Ward; and his nephew Alphonso Ward III. He is survived by: his wife Debra L. Curlett-Ward of Exeter; his mother Inell Ward (Stewart) of North Philadelphia; his children, Kevin Kennerly of Philadelphia and Heather L. Barlow (Seth Loose) of Shartlesville; his grandsons, Ian P. Barlow and Weston G. Loose; his sister Patty Ward of South Carolina; and his nephew Jewan Jeffries of North Philadelphia. He is also survived by several great nieces and great nephews; and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
