She was predeceased by: her husband Larry H. Merkel; her parents, Anton Wagner and Mildred Wagner (Thress); and her brother Joseph. She is survived by: her daughters, Cinda Barth (David) and Vickie Miller (Cory); her grandchildren, Morgan, Chad, Cole and Ryan; her great grandchildren, Dempsey, Ryder, Declan, Sophia, Evelyn and Edith; and her sister Dorthea Fry.
