He was predeceased by: his spouses, Maria and Carmen Scheirer (Orellana); his parents, George Scheirer and Hazel Scheirer (Miller); and his siblings, Terry Scheirer and Joan R. Zook.
He is survived by: his children, Esperanza (Theodore Wickert) of Exeter, Jorge Scheirer (Tracy) of Exeter and Carlos Scheirer (Cheryl) of Oakland, FL.; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Sara, Victoria Hughes (Jacob), Stephen Wickert (Emily Huber), Stephanie, William and Andy.
