He was predeceased by: his brothers, Dr. Chalon S. Rodriguez and Dr. Edmond S. Rodriguez. He is survived by: his wife Margo Thomas (Margo); his children, Javier L. (Jacqueline) of Reading, PA, Mary L. of Philadelphia, PA, Anne L. Mezey (Alan) of Haverford, PA and Edmond L. of College Park, MD; and his stepsons, Bill and David Thomas. He is also survived by two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
