It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blanche E. Zonca (Reading, Pennsylvania), born in Lansford, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 29, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Blanche E. farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Blanche E. is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony J. "Tony" Zonca; her parents, Michael Konsko and Violet Konsko (Karnish); and her sister Rosemarie O'Keefe. She is survived by: her children, Anthony R. "Tony" (Lori Zonca) and Chris (Joyce Zonca) of Piedmont, CA; her sister Loretta (Edward Eckman); and her granddaughter Catheryn.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church (1018 N 8th St, Reading, PA 19604). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church (1018 N 8th St, Reading, PA 19604).
