We announce the death of Brenda Lee Schlear (Reading, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 22, 2026, at the age of 70. Brenda’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Wesner and Meda Mae Cobb (Shue); and her brother Charles Wesner. She is survived by: her husband Gereon T. Schlear, Sr.; her children, Gereon T. Schlear, Jr. (Nicole Schlear), Mary Lee (Merrill Lambert, Jr) and Penny Ann (Edward Loser); and her siblings, Paul Wesner II, Rose Miller, Barbara Turner and Susan Moyer. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and one great grandson.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Theo C Auman Funeral Home (247 Penn St, Reading, PA 19601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
