He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond "Jimmy" and Arlene Trout (Hupp); and his brother Carey Trout. He is survived by: his wife JoEllen Trout (Di Blasi); his children, Greg (Gretchen), Timothy Trout of Stuart, FL., Andrea Trout of Fort Lauderdale, FL. and Danielle (Matthew Koons) of Collegeville, PA.; and his grandchildren, Shelby, Johanna Trout, Tyler and Gavin Koons.
