He was predeceased by: his grandson Raymond; his significant other Janice N. Robinson; his brothers, Harry Armstrong Sr. and Donald Robinson; his grandson Jeffrey Wenzel; and his great grandchild James Williams Jr..

He is survived by: his son Michael T. Robinson (Jan) of Las Vegas; his brothers, Michael Robinson and Eddie Burnley (Charlotte); and his granddaughter Tiara Robinson.
