David Seyfert Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Seyfert Sr. (Reading, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Seyfert Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Seyfert and Lizzie Seyfert; his son David Seyfert Jr.; and his siblings, Anna Wagner, Jane Quick, Mary Blackwell, Mabel Epting and Paul Seyfert.
He is survived by: his children, Nicki Bernhard of Stevens, PA, Beverly (Jeffrey Kline) of Mohnton, Ricky Seyfert of Muhlenberg Township, Christine (William Swartz) of Lykens, PA and Todd Seyfert (Alison); and his grandchildren, Casey Bernhard, Mickey Bernhard, Ashley Akins, Nicholas Macciocca, Jolynn Roskuscus and Nathan Talarigo. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (3300 Kutztown Rd, Reading, PA 19605). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (3300 Kutztown Rd, Reading, PA 19605). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Michael's Church - Tilden Township (529 St Michaels Rd, Hamburg, PA 19526).
