It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dolores J. Younker (Reading, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Vernon W. Sonon; her parents, Emerson E. Wert and Helen I. Wert (Haas); her children, Debra J. Schlenker (Jeffrey T. Schlenker) and Gerald A. Smith; and her siblings, Elmer E. Wert, Richard D. Wert and Dorothy I. Geschwindt (Wert).
She is survived by: her sons, Ricky "Rick" L. Sonon (June L.), Perry Twp and Michael W. Sonon (Deborah E.); and her grandchildren, Kevin, Christopher, Heather, Jessica, Christina and Brooke. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Zion's Cemetery (770 Zion Church Rd, Hamburg, PA 19526).
