He was predeceased by: his parents, George Marmarou and Efterpe Marmarou (Saava); his daughter Evelyn Himlin; and his siblings, Panagiotis, Emanuel and Anastasia.
He is survived by: his wife Maria; his daughters, Debbie Yost (Eric Yost) of Wyomissing, Ariadne M. Kopala (Michael J. Kopala) of Shillington and Georgia Pauley (John Pauley) of Sinking Spring; his grandchildren, Alexander, Mia, Jacob Hornberger II, Maria, Efstratios, Moses, Sophie, Efstratia, Sophia, Gabrielle, Gretchen, Nathaniel and Evan; his great grandchild Rhea; and his sister Hariklea Tzatzou (Lesvos) of Filia. He is also survived by his many nephews and nieces.
