She was predeceased by: her husband Efrain Gonzalez; her parents, Genaro Gonzalez and Cruz Pizarro-Correa; and her children, Apolonia Ayala and Alfredo Calderon.
She is survived by: her children, Luzbery Cruz Ortiz, Nelson Ortiz, Julio Calderon, Luz Maria Hertz, Mayra Ortiz, Maria Elena Ortiz and Annibal Ortiz Gonzalez. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
