It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth L. (Bette) Seaman Bodek (Reading, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 8, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Kenneth C. Seaman; her husband Frank S. Bodek; her parents, Leonard W. Kugler and Laura R. Kugler (Martin); her sons, William C. Seaman and Stephen K. Seaman; and her close friend David Yaffee.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly A. Bard (Russ Bard) of St. Lawrence, Eileen L. Smutek (Joe Smutek) of Flying Hills, Donna S. Hilton (Tom Hilton) of Exeter Township, Douglass B. Seaman (Peggy Seaman) of Rochester and Cheryl L. Sheirich of Muhlenberg Township. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Bean Funeral Homes- Hampden Heights (1605 Rockland St, Reading, PA 19604). A prayer will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
