With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elmer Turpin Jr. of Reading, Pennsylvania, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on September 4, 2021 at the age of 70. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elmer Turpin Jr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Turpin Baugh (Anderson) and Elmer Dunkins Turpin, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Olesha Lyndell Ohlinger of Reading, Jennifer DiPeitro of Philadelphia, Martha Elizabeth Turpin of Reading and Elmer Dunkins Turpin, III of Hawaii; and his siblings, Kathleen B. Turpin Merritt and Ronald Royal of Newark, NJ.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Veteran's Making a Difference, 2412 Spring St., West Lawn, PA 19609.
