He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Walton and Mary Walton (Watkins). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Walton (Battle); his children, Alisha Walton, Ernest Walton, Jr., Darel K. Lee and Zy'aire Martinez; his sisters, Barbara Jean Nunn and Alice Walton; his grandchildren, Kirsten Queenan, Jayden Holt and D. J.; and his great grandchildren, Jacir, Norie, T. J. and Aubrey. He is also survived by relatives and close family friends.
