With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fern Pondo (Reading, Pennsylvania), born in Oley, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 21, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Hess and Mabel Hess (Hilbert); and her husband Albert C. Pondo. She is survived by: her children, Louis (Diane Pondo) and Lisa Bagdon (Kelly Bagdon); her grandchildren, Heather Nowicki (Adam Nowicki), Beth Hymes (Josh Hymes) and Alexis Bagdon; her great grandchildren, Brooke, Ben, Thomas and Sara; and her nieces, Evie Thomas (Bruce Thomas) and Kathi Boczar (John Hagan). She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
