She was predeceased by: her parents, Morgan A. Harris and Elma P. Harris. She is survived by: her significant other Frank Simms; her children, Durshon Johnson and Porshia Taft (Greg Taft); her grandchildren, Lailah Taft, Jubei Hunter, Sophie Johnson and Mya Johnson; her siblings, Leslie Harris, Terry Johnson (Richard Johnson), Mary Harris and Gloria Harris; and her niece Alexus Duncan.
