He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Vogel and Mary Elizabeth Mangan; his siblings, Barry Berkenstock, Anita DeBellis (Anthony DeBellis) and Jonathan Toye; and his great-niece Maura.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa A. Vogel; his siblings, Rosemary (Thomas Checket), Kathleen, Elizabeth (late Scott Duffy), Steve (Bonnie Toye) and Pete (Laurie Toye); his nieces and nephews, Brian, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Karen, Sean and Ryan; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sarah, Corey, Dylan, Ian, Nick, Daniel, John, Hannah, Amelia, Kaina, Kaliki and Bleu; Lillian, Thomas, Finnian and Rory.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home (739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart R. C. Church (740 Cherry St, West Reading, PA 19611).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Berks Catholic High School, 955 E. Wyomissing Blvd., Reading, PA 19611 in George's memory.
