He was predeceased by: his parents, George N. Bentz and Mae E. Bentz (Drayer). He is survived by: his wife Carole M. Bentz (Graff); his children, Billy G. Bentz of Shillington and Susan M. (Bill S. Weidenheimer) of Mohrsville; his grandchildren, Kora (Jacob Goulet), Jenna Weidenheimer, Jordan Gerner, Jessica Bentz and Amber Bentz; his great grandchildren, Archer Goulet, Anthony Bentz, Aubrey Grubb, Aria Grubb and Adalynn Grubb; and his siblings, David N. Bentz of Blandon and Rebecca K. "Beckie" Bentz of Muhlenberg Township.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the JIM Dietrich Farmhouse (4899 Stoudts Ferry Bridge Rd, Reading, PA 19605).
