As Gwendolyn departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gwendolyn may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gwendolyn leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Custis and Joanne Custis (Barnes). She is survived by: her children, Shantae M. Johnson and James E. Brinson, Jr.; her granddaughter Jakeya Moore (Henry Moore, Jr.); and her great grandchild Destiny Moore.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Theo C Auman Funeral Home (247 Penn St, Reading, PA 19601).
