Helen Dalaveris Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Dalaveris (Reading, Pennsylvania), who passed away on August 7, 2025 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Helen's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Helen's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vasilios Vouyiatsis and Marianthe Vouyiatsis (Hadjipalaiologos); and her children, Dr. Louis Dalaveris, Laura Delp (John Delp) and Marian Porcaro (Nicholas Porcaro, Jr.).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church (1001 E Wyomissing Blvd, Reading, PA 19611). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Charles Evans Cemetery (1119 Centre Ave, Reading, PA 19601).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Sts. Constantine & Helen Church in her memory.
