He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Trexler (Howerter) and Paul L. Trexler; his son James C. Trexler; and his siblings, Anna Marie Hutcheson, David H., Paul Daniel and Samuel B. Trexler.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn M. Trexler (Weida); his children, Joellen Trexler Nelson and Andy (Gail Trexler); and his godchild Joey Spencer. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
