She was predeceased by: her husband William H. Gallagher; her parents, George M. Potious and Lydia M. Potious (McLaughlin); and her sisters, Patricia Chambers and Dawn Barrett.

She is survived by: her children, Stephen J. Gallagher (Linda) and Karen A. Richards (Andrew); her grandchildren, Lindsey, William, Colin and Bailey; and her great grandchild Daisy.
