She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Sassaman; her parents, Luther Bowers and Grace Bowers (Lutz); and her children, Jacob Mazur, Lois Duncan and Donna Yerger.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Gregory Yerger; her grandchildren, Adam Duncan (Samantha), Morgan Yerger and Kyle Yerger; her brother Jack Bowers (Alice); and her great grandchildren, Isabella, Jack, Declan, Carter, Taylor and Harper.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant View Cemetery (650 Fritztown Rd, Reading, PA 19608).
