She was predeceased by: her close friend William R. Clark; her parents, James Isaac and Idella Isaac (Leaf); and her sisters, Drucilla Flowers (Isaac), Agnes Medcalf (Isaac) and Betty L. Isaac.

She is survived by: her sons, Mack A. Gavin, Jr. (Valerie) of Wyomissing and Iran A. Garvin of Reading; her grandchildren, Alandra Garvin, Josalynn Serrano and Xavier Garvin; and her brothers, Carl H. Isaac of Reading and Thomas Isaac of Florida.
