He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward Gimont, Sr. and Susan Gimont (Kowalski); his sister Doris Schroeder; and his nephew Benjamin Abraham. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Lee Gimont (Keffer); his sons, Joseph Michael Gimont (Kayla L. Gimont) of West Lawn and Steven Matthew Gimont (Lori M. Gimont) of Mohnton; his grandchildren, Ava, Kade and Dylan; his sister Gloria Prout of Pottstown; and his brother-in-law Paul Abraham of Oley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508 in memory of Mr. Joseph Edward Gimont.
