She was predeceased by: her husband Steve Karpati. She is survived by: her daughter Suzan (Lehigh University); her son-in-law Robert L. Flipping III; her grandchildren, Astiana and Robert IV; and her sisters, Elizabeth Nemeth (Florida) and Matild Hargitai (Hungary).
