It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen A. Mertz (Reading, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 28, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kathleen A. Mertz to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Mertz; her parents, Paul J. Malriat and Kathryn V. Malriat (Buckley); her son Michael A. Pfennig; and her grandson Joseph A. Wehr.

She is survived by: her children, Timothy L. (Doris A. Pfennig) of Ruscombmanor Township, Marjory K. Pfennig of Spring Township and Teresa A. (Philip I. Hope) of Orefield; and her daughter-in-law Pam Pfennig of Ruscombmanor Township. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
