With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona Heist in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 13, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlene Livengood (Pyle) and Harry Flicker; and her siblings, Kenneth Flicker, Harry Dostman (Flicker) and Julia Tinkle (Flicker).
She is survived by: her brother Douglas Rutherford (Diane) of Ohio; her sons, Kerry Heist (Susan) of Oley, Steven Focht (Kelly) of Muhlenberg and Perry Focht (Diane) of Fruita, CO.; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Heist of Bellefonte, Brad Focht of Womelsdorf and Erika Focht of Lakewood, CO..
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Pennsylvania.
