We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Margarita Davila of Reading, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Margarita may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Margarita touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matilde Oquendo and Rafaela Oquendo (Rivera); and her siblings, Carmen Oquendo, Aurora Oquendo and Julia Oquendo Camacho.
She is survived by: her children, Carmen M. Soria, Juan Davila, Martha Davila, Irma Mendoza and Olga Colon; and her sister Mary Oquendo. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and 24 great great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Theo C Auman Funeral Home (247 Penn St, Reading, PA 19601). An entombment was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
