She was predeceased by: her husband Jacob H. Messner; her parents, Hayden Coldren and Anna Mary Coldren (Freeman); and her sister Mae Moyer. She is survived by: her children, Garson Messner (Supanida Khomvilai) and Karen Messner (Daniel Kugler); and her granddaughters, Grace and Siamantha.
