It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Finochio of Reading, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 8, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Enrico Finochio and Anna DiTomasso Finochio. He is survived by: his wife Marie Finochio (Sorrentino); his children, Michael Finochio (Sharon) of West Chester, Michelle Miranto (Joel) of Douglassville and Marc Finochio (Suzy) of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Joelle Fulmer (Cory), Erica Stengel (Richie), Anthony Finochio, Julie Miranto and Ashley Shook (Keston); and his sisters, Anna Marie Morrone (John) of Broomall and Tina Kulp.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Michael's name to the St. Judes Children's Research Center.

“You could not live in our old neighborhood in west Philly without knowing Mikey! He was first a friend, and then a band-mate and finally...almost a neighbor again when he settled in Reading with Marie and raised a great family. All the wonderful times we hung out, cracked jokes...and of course Mike's amazing ability to light farts with a match! We shall all miss this t mighty-mite of a friend, band mate,father and grandfather. Rest in peace Mikey. Joe Finio 1/13/22”
