With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mildred O'Neill (Reading, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kase and Rosella Kase (Ehrig); her husband James O'Neill; and her daughter Deborah Johnston. She is survived by: her children, Francis P. O'Neill (Cindy) of Sinking Spring, Shawn O'Neill (Lisa) of Lake Wynonah, Donna Giardiello (John) of Mount Penn, Kasey Bowers (Todd) of Pinehurst, NC. and Bruce Marcus (Deborah) of Silver Spring, MD; and her grandchildren, Brendon, Todd, Gina, Kevin, Eric, James, Laura and Kathryn.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church (925 Centre Ave, Reading, PA 19601). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gethsemane Cemetery (3139 Kutztown Rd, Reading, PA 19605).
