He was predeceased by: his parent Ora Koch; and his siblings, David, Bruce Sands and Deborah Koch. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary E. Sands; his daughters, Julia M. (Kevin Stokes) of Reinholds and Debra L. (Darren Max) of Shillington, PA.; his grandchildren, Damon, Simon Max, Madison and Kasey Stokes; and his great grandchildren, Isabella Max and Damon Max Jr..
